Malta celebrated the crowning of its new Miss World Malta

On June 4, 2025, Malta celebrated the crowning of its new Miss World Malta: Suwaida Bugeja. A nurse, medical student, and model, Suwaida embodies the essence of ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ through her advocacy for mental health awareness and the empowerment of young women via education.

The Miss World Malta pageant, established in 1965, is a prestigious national event that selects Malta’s representative for the international Miss World competition. This platform directed by Sue Rossi and Claudia Calleja provides young Maltese women with opportunities to showcase their talents, intelligence, and commitment to social causes on a global stage.

Suwaida’s journey resonates with our vision at Woman Star World. As we continue to celebrate women who lead with authenticity and purpose, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to Suwaida. We look forward to featuring her inspiring story in our upcoming July 2025 edition.
