Supaporn Saencharoenpong

MISS INDEPENDENT INTERNATIONAL 2026

I am a Thai–Myanmar woman, a model, beauty queen, content creator, and entrepreneur, but I think my story is much bigger than those titles.

I was born in Thailand and grew up in Myanmar, and that experience has always been an important part of who I am. I experienced different cultures and different ways of living, and sometimes I felt that I had to find my own place between them. But now I see that as one of my strengths. It taught me that you don’t always have to fit perfectly into one box.

I have lived and worked in different environments, met people from many cultures, and learned how to adapt while still staying true to myself. For me, representing a country or culture is not only about wearing a sash. It is about carrying your story with you.

People often see the glamorous side of my life—the gowns, makeup, photoshoots, crowns and events—but there were many years before that where I was simply trying to build a life for myself.

I studied philosophy at Yadanabon University in Mandalay. I worked as a Guest Relations Officer at Chatrium Hotel in Yangon and later worked in cosmetics and business in Myanmar.

Working in hospitality taught me a different kind of professionalism. I was responsible for welcoming and assisting guests, communicating with people from different backgrounds, understanding their needs, and helping ensure they had a positive experience. It required patience, attention to detail, good communication, and the ability to remain calm and professional in different situations.

I learned that making someone feel welcomed and valued is just as important as how you present yourself. Those experiences taught me that beauty alone cannot carry you through life. You need communication skills, discipline, patience and the ability to stand on your own feet.

I started modeling in 2014, when I was younger and still discovering what I wanted to do with my life. At that time, I was curious about fashion, beauty, photography, and the creative world. I didn’t know exactly where modeling would take me, but I was willing to try something new and learn along the way.

I didn’t begin with a complete plan or a clear picture of the future. I started by taking opportunities as they came and gradually learning how to present myself, work with different people, and become more confident in front of the camera.

One thing I remember about those early years is how different it feels to see yourself through a camera for the first time and realize that an image can communicate something beyond words. It made me interested in how fashion, expression, and personality come together to tell a story.

What began as an opportunity to explore modeling gradually became part of my professional identity and opened the door to pageantry, content creation, and other creative projects.

One of the most meaningful parts of my pageant experience has been representing Myanmar at Miss Eco International in 2016 as Miss Eco Myanmar. It introduced me to an international environment where women from different backgrounds could share their cultures, personalities, and ambitions.

Entering pageants allowed me to travel, meet incredible women, represent Myanmar and Thailand in different ways, and understand that my story could have value to other people.

Later, I continued in pageantry, representing Chai Nat in Thailand’s Miss Universe pageant system in 2025, becoming Miss Wellness World Myanmar 2025, and participating in Miss Independent International Thailand 2026. Each experience has encouraged me to become more confident, professional, and intentional about my future.

But pageantry taught me something else: winning is not always about the crown. Sometimes you don’t get the result you wanted, and you have to decide whether you will let that disappointment stop you or make you stronger.

I chose to continue.

Being a beauty queen can look very glamorous from the outside, but behind every beautiful photograph there is preparation, rejection, uncertainty, work and many moments when you have to believe in yourself even when nobody else does. I have had moments when I questioned myself, but I continued.

My biggest strength is probably that I don’t give up easily. I can be emotional, and I definitely have moments when I cry or feel disappointed. I am not someone who pretends everything is perfect. But after I allow myself to feel it, I usually ask myself, “Okay, what am I going to do now?”

I think that strength came from my life experiences. I have had to adapt many times, start again, and find another way when something didn’t work. Maybe that is why I have always believed that one closed door does not mean the end of the story.

Today, my life is very busy, and sometimes even I have to laugh because there are so many different things happening at the same time. I work as a model and content creator, participate in pageants and international projects, and work with brands. I travel between countries for work and opportunities, so my life is not always predictable.

My work gives me a way to express myself. Modeling allows me to express beauty and confidence. Pageantry allows me to represent something bigger than myself. Content creation allows me to speak directly to people and share parts of my real life.

I love the transformation that happens through this work. You can start with an idea, a dress, a makeup look or a simple concept, and suddenly create something that makes people feel something. That creativity is what keeps me connected to this industry.

At this stage, I am thinking much more seriously about my future. I don’t only want to be known as a beauty queen or influencer. I want to build a name that has value, a business that can grow, and a career that can continue even as my life changes.

My newest project is Aurea Image by Nan, my personal brand focused on Personal Color, Image, and Branding.

The idea behind Aurea Image is simple: I believe everyone has a unique beauty and presence, and I want to help people discover what makes them stand out. It is about understanding your image, expressing your personality, and building a confident, authentic presence.

Through my experience in modeling, beauty pageants, fashion, and content creation, I have learned how much the right image can influence the way we express ourselves and how others perceive us. I wanted to turn that experience into something meaningful that I could share with others.

Aurea Image by Nan is being developed for people who want to strengthen their confidence and create a more intentional image for themselves or their professional lives. I am currently building the brand around private consultations and workshops, with a vision to connect with clients in Bangkok, Vietnam, and Myanmar.

For me, this is an exciting new chapter. I am creating a brand that helps other people discover and present their own image. My goal is to make Aurea Image a trusted name in personal image and branding, bringing my own international experience and creative perspective into every consultation.

I would love to connect with brands, designers, photographers, beauty professionals, creative agencies, and international teams looking for a model, beauty queen, or content creator who can bring elegance, personality, and an international perspective to their projects.

I am particularly interested in fashion and beauty campaigns, luxury and lifestyle collaborations, editorial and magazine shoots, tourism and hospitality campaigns, and projects that celebrate women and Southeast Asian culture. I am open to meaningful business partnerships and opportunities to develop projects that combine beauty, culture, creativity, and entrepreneurship.

Having worked across different industries and cultures, I am comfortable exploring creative concepts and adapting to different project requirements. I want to collaborate with people who value professionalism, creativity, and a shared vision.

At the same time, I am becoming more selective about the opportunities I accept. I don’t want to do everything simply because it gives me exposure. I want to work with people and brands that respect my value and understand what I bring.

Respect, loyalty, honesty and consistency have become non-negotiable for me. I pay attention to how people treat others, not only how they treat me when they want something from me. I value people who can be genuinely happy for someone else’s success.

As I get older, I understand more clearly that not everyone needs access to you, and not every opportunity is the right opportunity. No matter how beautiful the opportunity looks, I don’t want to lose myself in the process.

I had to unlearn the idea that I always have to be strong. For a long time, I thought being independent meant I had to handle everything myself and never show vulnerability. Now I understand that being vulnerable does not make a woman weak.

I learned that you don’t have to make yourself smaller to make someone else comfortable. You can be beautiful, ambitious, successful and independent without apologizing for it. And you can love someone deeply while still knowing your own worth.

When I was younger, success meant winning, being recognized, looking beautiful and achieving the next goal. Now I see it differently.

Of course, I still love crowns, beautiful gowns and achievements—I am a beauty queen after all. But those things are only part of a successful life. For me, success now means having choices. Being financially independent. Having people around me who genuinely care about me. Being able to travel, create, work, love, and build something of my own. Being proud of the woman I see when I look in the mirror—even without the crown.

I think the thing I am most proud of is the identity I have built for myself. I started as a young woman who simply wanted to try modeling, and over the years I became a professional model, beauty queen, creator and businesswoman. Through it all, I have protected my independence.

I want women to feel that they are allowed to dream bigger than the circumstances they started with. I know what it feels like to build yourself step by step. I want to use my platform to connect people, create opportunities and show that women can reinvent themselves many times throughout their lives.

I want to represent Southeast Asian women internationally in a way that feels modern, confident and authentic. If one woman sees my story and thinks, “Maybe I can do it too,” then that means more to me than simply being famous.

The woman people see today was not created overnight by a crown. She was built through many different chapters.

If I had to describe myself simply, I would say I am a woman who is still building her dream—and I am not finished yet.
